ЕЩЁ ОДИН СПУСК

This song didn’t begin at home or in a studio.

It started taking shape somewhere on the long drive from Utah back to California, after five days of mountain biking in Deer Valley.

Five days when every morning began almost the same way: breakfast, a map in front of us, and one simple question - where are we riding today?

Start easier.
Then faster.
Then harder.

Three days in the bike park. Two days exploring the trails beyond it.

Every day, we rode.

The lift carried us back up the mountain again and again. Another trail. Another line. Another descent.

Tsunami. Red Bull. Tidal Wave. Undertow. ...

There was speed, and there were those rare moments when everything outside the trail simply disappeared. There were new lines, long miles through the mountains, forests, altitude, exhaustion - and a crash.

Some days went according to plan. Others didn’t.

But every day put us back on two wheels.

And eventually, it was time to go home.

There were hundreds of miles of road ahead of me, but my mind was still back there in the mountains.

I think that’s where the song really began.

I didn’t want to write a song about records, racing, or how difficult a trail someone is capable of riding. Those five days were never about that for me.

They were about the feeling that makes you take the bike back up the mountain again.

When a friend is beside you, the trail somehow feels a little easier.

When the trail gets meaner and what lies ahead gets harder, you hold your rhythm.

And when the bar rises a little higher with every descent, it isn’t because you have something to prove to anyone.

You just want to know where your own limit is today.

Then evening comes.

You’re tired. Your legs know it. Your body knows it. Your mind is perfectly capable of telling you that you’ve done enough.

And still, somewhere inside, there is that simple thought:

Ещё один спуск.

“ЕЩЁ ОДИН СПУСК” was born from five days in Deer Valley, but for me it became more than a song about mountain biking.

It is about those moments when you are completely inside your own life.

You’re not thinking about yesterday.
You’re not trying to solve tomorrow.

There is only the mountain ahead of you, the bike beneath you, a friend somewhere nearby - and the next few seconds.

Eventually, the mountains disappear behind you.

The road stretches toward home.

But those five days are still inside.
