One More Run

One More Run
There is always a moment when you could stop.
You’ve already ridden enough.
Your legs are tired.
Your hands know every hit through the bars.
You’ve climbed higher, gone faster, pushed farther than you planned.
And nobody would question you if you called it a day.
But then you look at the trail again.
And something inside says:
One more run.
This song is about that moment.
Not about being the fastest rider on the mountain.
Not about taking the biggest jump.
Not about proving that you’re better than the person riding next to you.
Because every trail asks something different from you.
Sometimes you need to let the brakes go and trust the bike.
Sometimes the terrain gets rough, the line gets tighter, and the only thing that matters is staying composed and holding your rhythm.
Sometimes things go wrong.
Someone crashes.
Someone waits.
Someone helps.
Then you get back on the bikes and keep moving.
That is part of it too.
One More Run is about pushing forward without needing an audience for it.
The person beside you may ride differently.
Their limit may be somewhere completely different from yours.
It doesn’t matter.
The only limit that matters in that moment is the one you arrived with.
And maybe, by the end of the day, you move it just a little.
Not because someone told you to.
Because you chose to.
That feeling exists far beyond mountain biking.
There are days when life gives you every reasonable excuse to stop.
When things don’t work.
When the plan falls apart.
When you’re tired of trying to fix what keeps going wrong.
And still, you continue.
Not blindly.
Not because stopping would make you weak.
Simply because somewhere inside you know:
I’m not done yet.
For four minutes, a trail can make the rest of the world disappear.
There is no yesterday to repair.
No tomorrow to figure out.
There is the line in front of you.
The bike underneath you.
The people riding with you.
And a decision.
One more run.
